Words are interface
Every label, error, and button is design. I start with what the screen needs to say, then shape how it looks.
I’m a product designer based in Vienna. And my career path was not straightforward. I started out writing and researching: I gathered insights from user interviews, created user personas, and wrote chatbot conversations, product copy, and ToV guidelines for SaaS apps in health, crypto, and spirituality. Every sentence I wrote lived inside an interface someone else had designed. Over time, I realized that I wanted to do both. I dived deeper into the UI design last year, and now I’m most interested in projects where I take full ownership of both copy and visuals.
Before all that, I studied biotechnology in Toronto. It taught me to test things instead of guessing, which is still how I work.
Outside of work, I love chess, playing piano, travelling, artsy movies, and pretending I can take good pictures on film.
Every label, error, and button is design. I start with what the screen needs to say, then shape how it looks.
I’m a man of science — I trust real insights from users over pure intuition.
If a user has to stop and think about the interface, the interface has failed.
